The Do Dham Yatra is a respected pilgrimage to the sacred Mandirs of Kedarnath and Badrinath in Uttarakhand’s Himalayas.

Kedarnath, devoted to Bhagwan Shiva, sits at 3,580 meters, surrounded by towering peaks and stunning views. As one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, it is especially important for devotees.

Badrinath, at 3,133 meters, is dedicated to Bhagwan Vishnu and is famed for its beautiful Mandir and peaceful setting.

This journey combines deep spirituality with the chance to witness breathtaking Himalayan scenery. Pilgrims travel these routes to seek blessings and experience the calm and uplifting atmosphere of these holy sites.

The yatra is best taken between May and October, when the weather is most favorable for a smooth and meaningful trip. Whether you travel by road, trek, or even by helicopter, the Do Dham Yatra offers a unique blend of devotion and natural beauty for all spiritual seekers

Day 1: Haridwar to Guptkashi

  • Start your journey from Haridwar, passing through the scenic towns of Rudraprayag and Devprayag.

  • Pause at Devprayag to see where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet.

  • Follow the Mandakini River as you make your way up to Guptkashi.

  • Visit the Ardh Narishwar (Vishwanath) Mandir, a sacred spot in Guptkashi.

  • Settle in at your hotel for the night.

Guptkashi: It is considered a mystical place, where legends say Bhagwan Shiva first appeared before heading to Kedarnath.

Day 2: Guptkashi to Kedarnath

  • Set out early by road to Sonprayag and take a local jeep to Gaurikund.

  • Begin your 16 km trek to Kedarnath Mandir, or choose a helicopter ride (extra charge).

  • Pay your respects at the holy Kedarnath Mandir on arrival.

  • Spend the night near the Mandir for a unique spiritual experience.

Kedarnath: The Kedarnath Mandir is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, and is said to be where Bhagwan Shiva vanished into the earth, leaving his hump behind.

Day 3: Kedarnath to Guptkashi

  • Attend the morning Aarti (prayer ceremony) at Kedarnath Mandir.

  • Trek back to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi.

  • Check into your hotel and rest after the journey.

  • Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 4: Guptkashi to Badrinath

  • After breakfast, head out for a scenic drive to Badrinath.

  • On arrival, take a dip in the Tapt Kund hot springs before visiting the Mandir.

  • Visit the revered Badrinath Mandir, dedicated to Bhagwan Vishnu.

  • Explore nearby sites like Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, and Charan Paduka.

  • Be a part of the soulful evening Aarti at the Mandir.

  • Spend the night in Badrinath.

Badrinath: Badrinath is one of the Chota Char Dham, where it’s believed Bhagwan Vishnu meditated while Goddess Lakshmi provided him shade as a Badri tree.

Day 5: Badrinath to Rudraprayag

  • Start your day with an early morning darshan (visit) at the Badrinath Mandir.

  • Travel to Rudraprayag via Joshimath, making a stop at Narsingh Mandir.

  • Enjoy the beautiful vistas of the Alaknanda River and valley landscapes.

  • Arrive in Rudraprayag and check in for an overnight stay.

Rudraprayag: It is a special place where the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers converge, holding deep spiritual meaning.

Day 06- Uttarkashi – Guptkashi / Sitapur 250 – 290 / Kms / 10-11 Hrs:

  • After breakfast, journey towards Rishikesh—the renowned Yoga Capital.

  • Visit landmarks like Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, and Triveni Ghat.

  • If you wish, witness the enchanting Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat.

  • Continue your drive back to Haridwar, concluding your Do Dham Yatra.
